Management Bios

Frank and Michele Fagundes
Frank is the CEO and Founder of Mr. Pickle's Inc. He
has twenty-five years of experience in the food service industry.
Frank is an energetic individual, originally from Daly City, California.
He took his convictions of hard work, discipline, and commitment
and applied it to the first Mr. Pickle's Sandwich Shop in 1995.
He formulated his system through years of experience as a customer
and/or an employee which catapulted the original shop to the choice
spot in San Mateo County. His belief in giving back to the community
has earned him a solid reputation as an individual who cares about
the people.
Michele is our President and Treasurer. Michele has
worked extensively in the Food and Beverage Industry. She has
worked all aspects including; Front of the House - Cook, Waitress,
Hostess and Cashier to Back of the House - Accounts Payable/Receivable,
Trainer and Manager. Michele knows the ins and outs of the restaurant
business and knows what it takes to run successful Food and Beverage
operations.
Together, with their combined experience, they lead the Mr.
Pickle's Franchise to greater and greater prominence and success.
Joan LaPlante
Mrs. Joan LaPlante has over 20 years restaurant experience. In
1985 she began as a waitress and soon realized that she knew what
it would take to have a successful restaurant. She opened her
own restaurant "Chatter's Grille" in 1990 and was a huge success
with a focus on exceptional service and homemade food. After relocating
to the east bay in 2000, she joined forces with Frank Fagundes
and has helped make Mr. Pickle’s a rising success.
